The Nanoscience Days began in 2004, at the opening ceremony of the NSC. The opening ceremony involved many renowned scientists and since then the tradition has continued in the form of Nanoscience Days. Since then, about 160 famous international scientists from a variety of fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology have been participating in the conference. In particular, some Nobel prize winners like Morten Meldal, Jean-Pierre Sauvage, J. Fraser Stoddart, and Stefan Hell have given lectures at the conference. In addition, the Honorary doctor of the Faculty, Prof. Ara Apkarian has presented his results several times at Nanoscience Days.

20th aniversary of the Nanoscience Center as well as the 20th Nanoscience Days. Honorary plenary lectures were given by a Nobel Prize winner Morten Meldal and the most succesful former NSD speakers and founders.
